Shielded Metal Arc Welding or more commonly referred as STICK welding is the most popular form of welding. It uses electricity to create heat that bonds two different pieces of metal together.

It can be used on a variety of metals but lacks the finesse that certain projects require. However, it is the cheaper option when deciding on a project.

So many projects can be fulfilled with this type of welding.
